It’s a privilege to have taken ownership of the beautiful Petal & Stalk. I’m excited to embark on this new journey for me and the shop and look forward to meeting you all!

Not all roses bloom at once

Having trained as an Apprentice Florist, I spent several years working in a Florists close to home honing my skills and creative flair. A career change took me into the construction industry, where I gained my First Class Degree and worked my way up within the company. I poured my heart and soul into this career and never considered changing it – until my little girl, Bobbie, came into the world.

However, I kept my hand in with floristry throughout the years, flowering weddings and sometimes funerals for close friends & family. Every single time I spoke to and worked with another Bride I was reminded of how much I love making their floral dreams come true – but I’ll admit I never thought it could be a career, until fate intervened and Petal & Stalk was presented to me as an opportunity.

Back to my roots

As my daughter grows, I also intend to nurture this little shop and continue the wonderful growth it’s seen from Abigail before me. I knew from our first meeting that it was meant to be, and I look forward to doing her proud now that she has handed me the reins, or secateurs!
