Can you think of a more dreamy afternoon than sitting in our enchanting Flower School in dappled sunlight, sipping tea and playing with an array of beautiful dahlias to create a stunning table arrangement to take home?
There’s something magical about dahlias. The different colours, the vivid oranges, pinks and reds right down to the dusky hues of the ‘cafe au lait’. The variety of shapes and sizes too, the funky pom poms or the striking spikey effect. It’s difficult to think of another flower which offers so much variety in colour, shape and size.
This was the first time we have ran this particular class. Teaching about dahlias and how they grow as well as how to arrange them and the techniques for a table arrangement. The students enjoyed the relaxed afternoon in the friendly environment of our flower school. It’s definitely a class we’ll be looking to bring back next year!
