We’re blown away by Mother’s Day every year but 2026 was something else.
We’ve estimated that we made in the region of 450 bouquets for our wonderful customers. To pull this off meant our little team working phenomenally hard, even through the night into the very small hours. We were fuelled by coffee, sweets and cakes from our friends and family though, which we’re very grateful for. And, with an army of helpers, around 300 of these were delivered around the county.
For a small independent florist in the quaint village of Navenby, what we achieved last week was amazing and something I am incredibly proud of. I think it is still sinking in just what we did, our little team.
With just a day or two for our hands to recover, the shop is back open this week and we start to look ahead to Easter flowers, spring wreaths and lots of glorious spring bulbs.
So this is just a heartfelt thank you. Thank you to everyone who came and supported our small business over Mother’s Day, every order and every purchase in our shop means the world when it’s independently owned. Thank you to everyone who bought us fuel and refreshments. Thank you to the amazing team of drivers and helpers. And, of course, our wonderful crew of flower fairies who made it all possible. Grateful and proud just don’t seem like big enough words.
