It’s hard to put into words the joy Charlotte’s wedding bought. From the stunning church, the gorgeous family home marquee setting, the warm family and the most wonderful brief. Then throw in their fabulous dog, Fergus, into the mix and you’ve got the perfect wedding!
Charlotte wanted colour, but not bright yellows. The more we talked to Charlotte, the more we understood the exact colours and vibe she was looking for. Then, working closely with our local grower, Old Farmhouse Flowers, we were able to curate the most perfect palette of flowers for Charlotte’s wedding. In fact, I think we exhausted Old Farmhouse’s field that week!
We created abundant urns and statuesque milk churns in the church, both of which were transferred to the marquee after the ceremony to ensure value for money. We adorned the marquee hoop over the bar with lashings of foliage, white limonium and twinkling fairy lights. The bridal bouquet, bridesmaids and buttonholes completed the look.
It all came together so nicely, a wedding we’re truly proud of and the professional photos that came through were just the icing on the cake. It’s not always easy working in the wedding industry, especially as a florist when you’re working with such temperamental materials, but weddings like this make it all worth while and such a pleasure. Creating gorgeous flowers for a gorgeous family, what more could you ask for?
