We’ve enjoyed a wonderful Spring this year at Petal & Stalk. It’s been a riot of colour as we’ve embraced all the yellow, coral and pinks in the shop. We’ve had tulips of all varieties through the season, the classic whites but also the more exotic looking parrot tulips and the luxurious doubles. We’ve had lots of anenomes in all the colours popping in the bouquets. Even a frilly double variety more recently which have added the most gorgeous texture to our Spring bouquets. The iris have been a real hit this year too with their vibrant purple and yellow.
During the season, we’ve enjoyed Mother’s Day and Easter. Both were a triumph and a testament to how busy a small independent florist in a little village outside Navenby can be. As normal, Petal and Stalk embraced both events with vigor, working tirelessly to keep creating the most beautiful bouquets, table arrangements and handmade gifts.
As we now work through April, we start to look ahead to the summer months. We’ve got the first delivery of the British flowers arriving next week, which we can’t wait for. There’s something so special about working with locally grown flowers all summer long.
For now, we’re enjoying the last of the bulbs, the tete-a-tete dancing in the breeze outside the shop.
