What a welcome sight it was this week to see our friends from Old Farmhouse Flowers pull up in their van with our first bucket of locally grown British flowers. This truly signifies the start of summer for us as florists. We can now look forward to buckets of flowers grown just a few miles from our shop in Navenby throughout the summer and into early Autumn.

These flowers will be used throughout the season in our wedding work, helping to create truly seasonal wedding flowers. We will also sell them in the shop by individually by the stem and also use them in our bouquets to add pops of colour and seasonal variety.

One of the best things about the locally grown flowers is the variety and surprise each week. We rarely specify flowers, we enjoy the ladies bringing us a selection of what the field is producing that week. This makes the flowers they deliver to us as seasonal as possible, and as sustainably grown as we can.

Welcome back British Blooms – we’ve missed you!
